Hit & Run

As an insurance associate at State Farm I deal with accidents, hit and runs, deer claims, homeowner's claims everyday. However, now I am the one with a damaged car.

After work Monday evening I noticed that someone had hit my car while I was at work. I am confident the whoever hit my car knows that he/she did it with the amount of damage done. However, he/she failed to leave his/her insurance information and name so I guess Kevin & I will be the one paying for the damage.

Thankfully it was the car and not the blazer, but it is still an inconvenience and I am confident that I could find a lot of other ways to to spend this money. However, I am thankful that it wasn't worse and no body was hurt. Like I tell me customers a car can be fixed!!!!

Here are a few pictures !!!

Zoo Fun

Tyler & I enjoyed a day at the Blank Park Zoo with Shawna and Mitchell Van Zee. Mitchell & Tyler had a lot of fun together and it was fun to watch them interact. We had a great time riding the train and watching the animals. Tyler & I have been reading a book about Zebra's and Giraffe's so we was excited when he got to see both of them.

After the Zoo, Shawna & I enjoyed a little shopping!! It was a great day and we were thankful that it started to rain after we were done with the Zoo.

Here are a few pictures.

Tyler's 3rd Birthday

Happy 3rd Birthday Tyler !!! Tyler turned 3 last Saturday ~ he was so excited for his birthday party that he was up at 6:00 in the morning waiting for Grandpa and Grandma to arrive.

We actually had his birthday party on Sunday and he was very happy that everyone came to his party. In fact, he has told me several times this week that he wants another party this weekend. :)

In addition to celebrating Tyler's birthday on Sunday, Tyler also sang "Jesus Loves Me" in church with Grandpa Rozenboom, Daddy, and Uncle Corey. Tyler did a wonderful job and we are excited to have in sing again in the near future.

Tyler got a Basketball from Grandpa & Grandma Kas
Grandma Rozenboom made Tyler a Basketball Cake. He loved the orange frosting.

Kevin & I gave Tyler a bike for his birthday.

Group Picture ~ we were happy that everyone from both sides of the family could help Tyler celebrate his 3rd birthday.
Tyler we love you lots ~ Happy 3rd Birthday!!!

Tulip Time

This past weekend we enjoyed Tulip Time in Pella. Kevin's cousin Morgan was the Tulip Queen for 2009 so that was a huge honor for her. We had the opportunity to watch the lighted parade Friday evening and Tyler loved the bands. He told me that he is going to play the drums when he gets older. :)

Saturday morning we had Tyler and Avery's pictures taken in Pella. They turned out really well. Saturday afternoon we walked in the baby parade and Tyler was asleep before the parade even started ~ tired little boy.

Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day at Grandpa and Grandma Kuiper's. Grandpa and Grandma were excited because the entire family was able to make it for Sunday dinner. It was great to see everyone again and spend time together.

Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

I will update more at a later time, but thought I would post pictures from the weekend before I leave for Minneapolis in the morning. I have meetings for State Farm on Thursday and Friday so will be out of town for the rest of the week. Tyler and my Mom are coming with me and my Mom is going to watch Tyler while I attend my meetings. I am looking forward to getting a little shopping done after my meetings are done on Friday.
Have a great week!!!

Happy Easter

Tyler and I had a lot of fun decorating Easter Eggs on Wednesday. He was so excited to make Easter Eggs and hasn't stopped talking about it since. We started out with 12 eggs and as you can see by the pictures below we actually only decorated 6. Tyler was having too much fun with the other eggs as he thought they were golf balls.

Tyler was fascinated with the colored water
Trying to hold the eggs under his chin ~ he thought that was pretty funny.

Checking out all of his eggs

Tyler's favorite egg ~ he thinks it is a basketball since it is orange

Our decorated eggs ~ what a fun day!!
As I was decorating Easter Eggs with Tyler, I kept thinking about Easter Weekend and the true meaning of Easter. Yes, it was fun to decorate Eggs, but as Christians we have so much more to be thankful for ~ Christ dying on the cross to pay for our many sins.
We pray that you have a wonderful Easter Weekend. God Bless!!!

Epcot Center

Epcot Center was the place where we spent the least amount of time ~ simply because we ran out of time. However, we did find time to ride in Spaceship Earth, see Nemo, ride the GM test track, and throw lots of Grandpa's money into the water.

Tyler was fascinated with the water & threw all of Grandpa's coins in the water.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios was awesome ~ I will let the pictures explain our fun.

Tyler enjoyed meeting all of the characters ~ including Mickey Mouse, Pooh, & Tigger
We enjoyed a 3D muppet show.

Tyler with Handy Manny

My sisters & I by the American Idol Stage ~ they were having auditions the day we were there.

The best part of Tyler's Day was seeing Mc Queen & Tow Mater ~ we had to wait in a very long line to see them, but it was well worth it.
We also enjoyed an Indiana Jones show, an Extreme Power Show, a few rides, and much more.
